Hello Olivia,
I googled this to try to figure out what the fuck it is also. I'm from NY and lived in Rock Hill in the 60's and 70's. This summer we returned to NY for a vacation (now in AZ) and about a mile from where we lived came across this "Church" (also photographed it, see included url) This was not there when we left back in '77. Amazingly, your post is the only reference to that same "church" I have found and I see you have no other comments.

If you have found out any more about this, please let me know.

Thanks,

Joe

Here is the url to my photo. If the link does not work, the photo is on my blog: www.orlando-summer-vacation.blogspot.com

Artist and Rev Mike Osterhout, an upstate native is the owner of the church. He has masters in art and is an Ordained Reverend, part of his masters thesis. Check out Mo David North.

I drove past the church today for the first time in a few years. The shingle that is the topic of discussion here didn't catch my eye originally, but the giant yellow "God Loves Fags" sign, written in Hebrew with English subtitle, sure did.
